Evenings in Olde Seville Square

Pensacola, Fla.–The Evenings in Olde Seville Square summer concert series is in its 23rd season. The 2010 series features concerts, satisfying musical tastes from big band to jazz and from Broadway to modern dance each Thursday from 7–9:15 p.m., in historic Seville Square in downtown Pensacola.

Since 1988, these music-filled evenings have become a tradition, recreating the popular concerts held in the city’s park at the turn of the 19th century.

The price is right:  Admission is free.

When attending concerts, bring a lawn chair or a blanket for seating. Also, bring your appetite! Located on Alcaniz Street, concession stands also offer sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, sausage, snacks and the “Evening’s” famous freshly popped popcorn as well as frozen desserts, soft drinks and bottled water.
